This work is part of Cinzah's 'Salt Dirt Sky' Series.

'Salt Dirt Sky' was Cinzah's third solo exhibition, the exhibition was on view for the month of November 2017 at Tennyson Gallery, Napier Hawkes Bay, NZ.

Salt Dirt Sky' explores the beauty found in all forms and states of nature.  The emotions, movement and energy of forces depicted through calm, reflective and relaxed states as well as chaotic, disruptive and destructive forces, such as the power of a rough swell, an epic storm or the cruel ways in which nature can deal with obstacles in its path.

A lot of the subject matter in this body of work are drawn directly from and inspired by experiences living in Hawkes Bay.  The plant life, marine and bird life, and interactions with these lifeforms, landscapes and seascapes.  Drawing from memories of physical experiences as well as visuals subconsciously manifested through meditation and dream states.

Cinzah explores the symbiotic relationships between salt, dirt and sky, the interconnectivity of all life on earth and the common thread that binds us all together.
